In one of the first subheadings, NYT calls the presidential campaign “bitter”. While I agree, I suppose that is bias. In the front-page photo, Obama is shown being friendly to those supporting his campaign while the picture of Romney and Ryan has them looking quite business-like. This newspaper is generally more liberal in their articles, and they do not understand religion. Hence, they usually mock it.
In one of the scrolled images on the front page of their website, they have a picture where Romney looks mean/angry and Obama is calm, cool, and collected.
From one of their articles: “[this campaign] pitted a progressive case for government against a conservative assault on government.” While some of that is true, Mother Jones definitely puts the negative on conservatives by calling it an “assault on government.”
It’s all over this website that Jesus should be president. I’ve got news for you: he isn’t a U.S. citizen; he can’t be president (of course I am aware of the other reasons Jesus Christ cannot be president of the United States of America, but bear with me in my facetiousness ). While I see their point, it’s probably best to focus on how to deal with what’s really happening instead of declaring ideals.
